My skin is irritated. Can I use moisturizer?
It is common for treatments to cause skin irritation, particularly for individuals with sensitive skin. It is necessary to wait at least 90 minutes before applying any additional products to the skin. During this period, the skin is expected to appear slightly pink or light red. Once the 90 minutes have passed, you can use moisturizer or other skincare items as desired. However, please note that your skin may be more susceptible than usual for a few days following the treatment; therefore, it is advisable to avoid harsh topicals until your skin fully recovers.
How long before I can expect to see results?
While the process of neocollagenesis, or the creation of new collagen, can typically span several weeks, it is not uncommon to see an enhanced quality and visible difference in your skin within a day. After undergoing 2-3 sessions, you may experience a denser and stronger cellular matrix filled with collagen, leading to more consistent and noticeable improvements. For concerns such as scarring, sagging skin, and wrinkles, it is possible that six or more treatments might be recommended for optimal results.
